WANDER THROUGH YOUR WORDS, AND OTHER POEMS BY DONOVAN BALDWIN, AUGUST 6, 2024

 wander through your words

collect clouds of ideas

from dancing raindrops

-----

wetness of the world

filling her and cleansing her

poems on her skin

each striking drop a kiss

each stream down flesh a caress

she turns to the rain

naked bohemian

dancing in a summer rain

pelted by raindrops

-----

we set two limits

on the manner of our love

safety and respect

-----

when her demons howl

she knows he'll be at her side

helping control them

-----

demons holding back

dare approach with permission

as he guards her gates

-----

the vulva orchid

duplicates in flower form

desire's beginnings

-----

seas I've longed for you

mid the tidal ecstasies

quiet pools of love

-----

petals loosening

rose desperately opens

to spill its nectar

-----

(NSFW)

She is soaked in rain

The outer rain of nature,

The inner of her nature,

Reverberations and vibrations,

Shaking petals, causing dew

To precipitate

As the storm's thunder,

Shakes the stem of

Her eager blossom,

Separating petals

Into pathways

Followed by

Her lover's tongue,

As he drinks from

Her delicious deluge.

-----

no sin in pleasure

nothing wrong with ecstasy

or mutual love

-----

exciting unknown

not knowing what's coming next

but it will be good

-----

i dreamed that you cared

though it could be but a dream

such things don't come true

-----

you must come tell me

what should your punishment be

for running away

-----

she kneels before me

prepared for her punishment

naked and ready

-----

tonight's special treat

spanking of both front and back

until body weeps

-----

it's not me she loves

but what my words do to her

taken to extremes

-----

i'll be hurt again

that's how it always happens

when love goes one way

-----

strip naked love

lay yourself across my lap

ass ready for spanking

-----

i love you naked

i have never held that back

beauty of body

-----

this is who i am

please don't tell me to change

then i won't be me

-----

gentle trap he set

loving words of woven silk

bound about her heart

-----

her lovely darkness

beyond common daring use

hid her special sins

-----

if i were painter

i would paint so many nudes

all of them of you

-----

asking honestly

have you any idea

how beautiful you are

-----

body an altar

holy how we mortals sin

you are my goddess

-----

how rare your beauty

standing naked all revealed

idol for lover

-----

he indulges her

curious explorations

carnal adventures

-----

he found her perfect

but she never wanted him

yet became poems

-----

nope i'm not perfect

but i haven't changed a bit

i'm still the same guy

-----

can you see the truth

i haven't changed at all

you've just seen more

-----

only a poet

never really real to her

just meaningless words

SWIMMING WITH YOU

By Yvonne Reed

Swimming with
you
love
in the
fiery pool
of desire

Embracing your
hunger
with eager
excitement

Welcoming
each touch
each kiss
each sigh

Submerging in
ecstasy
we dive
Into
euphoric depths
of pleasure

Floating
in communion
of contentment
with you
love

LOVE'S LIKE AN OCEAN, AND OTHER POEMS BY DONOVAN BALDWIN, WRITTEN APRIL 4, 2020

By Donovan Baldwin

love's like an ocean
its tides so deeply flowing...
floating wet and warm

-----

ocean's quenching waves
cooling my fires of desire...
for all but my love

-----

sounds of talking waves
stories told in distant tongues...
i sit and listen

-----

warm waves on my toes,
steals the sand beneath my feet...
we hold each other

-----

kiss in the shallows
holding on in surging surf...
dragging us deeper

-----

wearing funny hats
cake and ice cream we're naked...
a private party

-----

rocks in the water
bare feet on sharp barnacles...
tendrils of blood swirl

-----

dark streets of munich
annie's at the rhumba bar...
my old memories

-----

i bought her flowers
sad rosie the prostitute...
working her birthday

-----

so damn many scars
a few happy memories...
how i became me

-----

I knew he was crazy,
But, he had no real friends.
I took him with me,
To Munich,
To The Rhumba Bar.
Didn't like the booze,
The service,
The girls.
Asked me to get the car,
Ran out,
Jumped in,
Drive!!!
I slashed their seats!
My favorite dive.
Couldn't go back.
The owner, Eddie the Jockey
Was good with a knife...
Too.

-----

let's not be fancy
stick to plain words and kisses...
no embellishments

-----

heavy lidded eyes
many soft and sleepy sighs...
carry you to bed

-----

tuck you tightly in
with many goodnight kisses...
stand watch by your side

-----

i taste your story
savoring the spicy parts...
fingers mark the spot

HER COMPLEXITIES, AND OTHER POETRY BY DONOVAN BALDWIN, WRITTEN MARCH 8, 2020

By Donovan Baldwin

her complexities
geometric progressions...
to convexities

-----

Having caught sight of love
Two daring adventurers
Set sail on stormy seas,
Bound together in their
Explorations of exciting land,
New sensations shared
And sensed again and again,
For the bold pleasure
They find on their
Ocean of love in
One another's arms.

-----

i will kiss your neck
pressing my body to yours
breath warm on your back

-----

met and guided in
welcomed with more than nuance
buried deep within

-----

to simply touch her
to have that moment that right...
within her desires

-----

bold passionate words
shadows of reality...
making love to her

-----

craving caresses
captive of carnal desires...
my helpless body

-----

far beyond delight
busty woman back arching...
her blossom blushing

-----

admire her necklace
touching her bosom gently...
she smiles her consent

(Inspired by lines from Vidyapati Bangiya Padabali, by Vidyapati Thakura)

-----

wildly beating heart
highest moment of desire...
her secrets set free

-----

many ways we kiss
playful lips wandering hands
bring joint ecstasy

-----

skilled in passion's lore
she thinks herself innocent
but her heart holds fire

-----

her womanly wiles
so completely seductive
exposing her mind

-----

passion flows oe'r us
who could turn the tide or would
when wet in its waves

-----

arms crossed and on guard
keeping her secrets hidden...
but not from my thoughts

SUNRISE IN PASTEL, AND OTHER POETRY BY DONOVAN BALDWIN WRITTEN FEBRUARY 29, 2020

By Donovan Baldwin

sunrise in pastel
muted hues of pink and gold
vibrantly low key

-----

inches above grass
red tail hawk hunts his breakfast
death defying swoop

white heron fishes
standing patiently beside
the still pond waters

woodpecker rhythm
pounded out on dawn's cold air
the world waking up

-----

breaking all the rules
loving the one way we know
mutual pleasure

-----

deep intimacy
touches over eager skin
brings high ecstasy

-----

she watches my hand
explore forbidden places
smiles and offers more

-----

touching with my eyes
i trace your womanly curves
store in memory

-----

pulsing with desire
accept this deep lover's kiss
upon blushing lips

-----

ask me for a kiss
intimate daring touches
i'll deny nothing

-----

fairest of flowers
her rosy petals glowing
dripping morning dew

-----

The waves break gently
Across the feet of lovers
Strolling still warm sand
As the sun sinks into the sea,
Lighting other lands, leaving
The lovers and this land
In darkness, and, in that dark,
They turn to one another,
Sinking to the sand,
Undressing one another,
Make sunset love,
Lovers tossing and turning,
Glowing golden
In the rolling waves.

-----

If you had been painted
Nude and totally revealed,
I would buy that painting
And display it proudly in
The living room,
Without comment,
Proudly ready to defend
The shy but daring lady
So nakedly,
And,
Had I painted it,
So lovingly
Portrayed.

POEMS AND HAIKU WRITTEN BY DONOVAN BALDWIN, JANUARY 14, 2020

The naked flower
Blushes not at
Its being bare,
For that is a
Sharing of its
Beauty,
The purpose
It was created for.
It blushes at
The happy joy
And ardent love
Upon the face
Of the gardener,
Who loves it
So intently.

-----

cannot help sadness
it's a part of who i am
wait for it to pass

-----

and still it flows this
stream of time and memory
which hides the future

-----

pounded by the surf
awash in sensual tides
open ecstasy

-----

Perhaps the sky has made me gray today
Painted me with today's dawn colors
Of mist and smoke, left me wanting
The true rising of the sun,
My favored glows and growing
Pinks and purples and burning golds,
Which give way to bright blue skies
And a few floating clouds for accent.

-----

i'm walking talking
scattering my ideas
in all directions

-----

see with my glad eyes
the vision you are to me
and smile as you do

-----

voices pass away
into old realities
born new memories

-----

kiss me till i tire
whenever that may occur
in some distant age

POEMS WRITTEN JANUARY 6, 2020 BY DONOVAN BALDWIN

i love to see you
lady in your disarray
real and natural

-----

imagine a kiss
the meeting of willing lips
open discussion

-----

tongues transmitting thoughts
my moist mature murmurings
inner ideas

-----

our mingled breaths
the mixed moisture of our mouths
caressing bodies

-----

Can we say we "keep" time,
When it, fluid,
Likened to a river,
Flows past
No matter our efforts
At constraining it?

Or, do we merely mark time,
With arbitrary seconds and hours,
Which we mortals,
Prisoners of time,
Invented to measure
The dimensions of our cells?

-----

She reclines as I read,
Immersed in suds and poetry,
Bathed by water and words,
Emollient elegies softening
Stiff, tired muscles of her soul,
Releasing restraints and,
Dozens of delayed desires as
My orgasmic orations
Leave her laying languidly
In anticlimactic afterglow.

-----

wet your lips with wine
press them joyfully to mine
afterwards we dine

-----

write between my lines
i'll read words you mean to say
loveliest of all

-----

your passionate flames
lick the tinder of my soul
leaving it branded

-----

say with soft fervor
the secrets you have hidden
so we can love them

-----

what you did last night
you meant to be a secret
makes me love you more

POEM: DREAMS PASS FROM THE NIGHT

By Donovan Baldwin

Dreams pass from the night,
Cross seas and miles,
Passing through every obstacle
Between separated lovers
As fingertips touch cheeks,
Tears are kissed away,
Lips touch lips most fervently,
Hands are held in quiet strolls,
For lovers' honest dreams,
Conquer all but sad reality.

POEMS, COMMENTS, AND HAIKU BY DONOVAN BALDWIN, SEPTEMBER 20, 2019

our secret market
where we barter kiss for kiss
touches for touches

-----

your love a diamond
my endless goal perfect gem
in ideal setting

-----

as each night passes
i write out my love in verse
words reveal my soul

-----

i poet, singer
troubadour seeking your love
offering mine to you

-----

i savor your fruit
puckered berries tasty ripe
offered with your love

-----

love's wine light and warm
tangy and sweet to my taste
i crave all you have

Poem: Were I To Love

Were I To Love
By: Donovan Baldwin

Were I to love,
And never speak,
The words of love,
Rattling in my head,
How empty would
My world be.

For love must have,
The sounds of love,
The words, the winds,
The thunderstorms,
The quiet breezes,
That fill the skies.

Were I to love,
And never show,
The gestures and,
My wide eyed smile,
How would she know,
My inmost thoughts.

For love must have,
The sights of love,
The sunlight, moonlight,
The brightest blossoms,
The emerald seas,
Where love sails.

Were I to love,
And never kiss,
The dear soft lips,
Which smile at me,
For fear of failure,
How would I know?

For love must have,
The moment joined,
The passion shared,
The vows and oaths,
The uniting of the two,
That makes them one.

Poem: This Thing Sweeps Over Me

By: Donovan Baldwin

I have lived with hurricanes,
And dared to ride the wind.

I love thunder and lightening, and,
Come alive in the stormiest of storms.

Challenge wakens my soul,
Causing me to stand tall and proud.

But, this thing sweeps over me,
Leaving me breathless and in awe.

It is the feeling that I feel,
When I think of her.

If I could hold her hand,
Encirle her waist with my arms,

Once kiss her lips with mine...

I am not sure that I could breathe.
