POEM: DREAMS PASS FROM THE NIGHT
By Donovan Baldwin
Dreams pass from the night,
Cross seas and miles,
Passing through every obstacle
Between separated lovers
As fingertips touch cheeks,
Tears are kissed away,
Lips touch lips most fervently,
Hands are held in quiet strolls,
For lovers' honest dreams,
Conquer all but sad reality.
