ALONE WITH HER NEEDS, AND OTHER MICRO-POETRY BY DONOVAN BALDWIN, OCTORBER 26, 2025

DONOVAN BALDWIN
alone with her needs
burning in private places
she beats at the flames

-----

image on my mind
all day i remember how
we wished it to be

-----

none would understand
our colorful fantasies
in this dull gray world

-----

i desire to do
the most lascivious acts
as you watch me sin

then you take a turn
giving yourself to others
watching me watch you

sharing our bodies
drinking ejaculations
of bodily fluids

-----

i just want to know
your so-called sins excite me
all you dare to share

-----

does she dare reply
even if but with a click
her heart left exposed

-----

wonder where you've gone
you were here a little while
was i too daring

-----

i can see your fires
as your secret needs take flame
in burning places

-----

none ever touched me
or put their arms around me
to make me feel loved

------

thought she'd never find
one who understood her love
loved her how she loved

-----

amidst passion's storm
a hidden orchid blooms
within its own rain

-----

anoints my body
her consecrated nectar
a blessed giving

-----

private recital
fingering love's instrument...
such stirring chords struck

-----

button by button
exposing more than her heart
lifting more than his

-----

you sit facing me
surrender to titty play
soft orgasmic sighs

------

if i could teach you
your sins were not sins to me
but steps to freedom

-----

drink and breathe i must
eat but have no appetite
love without return

-----

your tongue licks your lips
as each button comes undone
and a rose appears

-----

loving you daily
unable to love myself
the way that you do

------

we're adam and eve
wandering our own eden
loving endlessly

-----

torridly tempting
her mind before her body
i had to have both

-----

how often I've failed
despite my best intentions
and earnest efforts

-----

speak with your body
name the sins we shall commit
show me how and where

-----

my hopeless searching
through all of my poetry
hoping to find you

-----

i have dined with her
her silver nectar flowing
over honeyed treats

-----

read what i put down
knew at once they were for her
loving words i wrote

-----

such expressive eyes
i look and make up poems
thoughts i read within

-----

two impossibly
entwined beneath black rainbows
their bodies on fire

I HAVE LEARNED FROM SAINTS, AND OTHER ORIGINAL POEMS BY DONOVAN BALDWIN, AUGUST 9, 2024

I have learned from saints

And from my own sins

Injuries and aches

A part of life we endure

On the path to

Becoming ourselves

-----

between cloth and skin

she will gladly let him in

her private playroom

-----

amazing inner burst

that which is release to her

flowing from her body

-----

the love i've given

so much i've lavished and lost

never to be returned

-----

did you really love

or simply need me to love

pretend mine was ours

-----

what most will say

to make you believe they love

will be changed later

-----

what i said i'd do

the way i said you would be loved

is what i will do

-----

reached the end of love one day

learned that i still had more to give

even to those who never loved me

-----

mortal man of pain and love

met a goddess of love and pain

and each made the other whole

-----

so often you've appeared

in guises of many women

whom i loved and watched

as you've walked away

leaving me wondering

if and when and how you

would truly manifest

-----

savory as sea water

sensual as seasonal tides

stroking our senses

-----

you're not asking sins

just a partner to explore

pleasure's many paths

-----

inner sun warms her

her juices begin to flow

as his dawn rises

-----

afraid of that first step

she grasps his hand for support

safely uncertain

-----

my hand grasping yours

you dare to submit yourself

to loving desires

-----

touch of lips and tongue

bringing her sweet bloom to life

with its' crystal dew

-----

how your beauty shines

desires polished and refined

by love's many touches

-----

too long others' toy

a moment of salvation

handed her own heaven

-----

a room with a stranger

kinky secret thing she did

remembered forever

-----

that's a lovely smile

although it's not meant for me

i'm glad i saw it

-----

i didn't need a yes

as long as there was maybe

i was willing to stay

WHEN HER DESIRES FRIGHTEN HER, AND OTHER POEMS BY DONOVAN BALDWIN, AUGUST 7, 2024

she sometimes must hide

when her desires frighten her

then he brings her home

-----

controls your body

holds your hands above your head

you accept his gift

-----

she floats in poems

a penetration of words

find their way inside

-----

bare shoulders to me

lips and fingers on your neck

kisses at your throat

------

take time for beauty

not all poems come from pain

YOUR PASTEL PAGES AND OTHER POEMS BY DONOVAN BALDWIN, AUGUST 1, 2024

Your pastel pages

Fluttering beneath the pen,

Pearlescent ink barely seen,

Underlining and marking,

The curves and folds,

Of the delicious flower,

Precious cup from which

Poet drinks his wine.

-----

tastes words one by one

as they drip my mouth to hers

become poetry

-----

look into your eyes

imagining the thoughts you hide

behind quiet fire

-----

life's greyscale rainbow

yesterday a happy day

today sad shadows

-----

no longer restrained

released from one set of bonds

gives herself to him

-----

never saw your face

yet i know you're beautiful

your words have told me

never touched your skin

yet I've left words written there

by your gentle hand

never heard your voice

yet i know sighs in the dark

have followed my words

-----

your kiss saps my strength

your embrace restores my youth

i need both to live

-----

serving me coffee

wearing my pajama shirt

carefully unbuttoned

-----

why you can't love me

i'm too old and you're so young

i just want you happy

-----

She put on a show about sin

Delightfully uncovered skin,

She showed him the way

Nice girls shouldn't play,

And then she invited him in.
