LONG HAVE I LOVED YOU, AND OTHER MICROPOETRY BY DONOVAN BALDWIN, OCTOBER 17, 2025

DONOVAN BALDWIN
BY DONOVAN BALDWIN

long have i loved you
through my silences and words
my many failures

-----

when warriors weep
and the poet's pen is stilled
love will stand waiting

-----

sweet cinnamon skin
salty tang to tracing tongue
dark delicious cream

-----

she's no longer young
she's experienced and tired
in search of understanding

to be loved for herself
the body bearing marks of time
the mind in search of thoughts

desiring internal ecstasies
after which she can rest in his arms
that's what he's seeking

-----

no negligee please
just enter the room naked
trail of clothes behind

-----

you've exposed yourself
made a public piece of art
prized by all and me

-----

enough of a boy
to yet enjoy the pleasures
dull adults cannot

-----

two kindred spirits
seeking one another out
unable to touch

-----

a modern facade
hides fabled queen incarnate
that i clearly see

-----

rose held to her throat
thorns about to open veins
of blood red poems

-----

how eager she is
sharing pleasures of the flesh
simply for love's sake

-----

how can i resist
pain i cannot live without
passions you inspire

-----

he and his lady spar
among objet d'art
in glistening white
settle down for a night
of loving the way they are

----

sharp intake of breath
as i'm once more touched by you
memories arise

-----

haven't forgotten
all those sexy interludes
lascivious pleasures

-----

would you share with me
all that flows from pleasure's cup
once more like before

-----

two who love so hard
in every possible way
sharing adventures

-----

we had so much fun
shared exotic erotics
each possible way

-----

open mind like mine
body and soul made for love
we're so similar

STORIES I CAN'T TELL, AND OTHER RANDOM MICROPOETRY BY DONOVAN BALDWIN - OCTOBER 12, 2025

DONOVAN BALDWIN - POET
stories i can't tell

times that you and i made love

in secret places

-----

i've so many words

i can use to describe you

how you make me feel

-----

if you only knew

how many times every day

i try to find you

-----

when she's all alone

a time for private pleasures

solo adventures

-----

as i stand exposed

her fingers seek to mold me

as if i were clay

-----

touch me just one time

as if you meant to please me

make me feel wanted

-----

words a silken gown

rustling across her bare skin

causing arousal

-----

hold me just one time

make me feel that i belong

for a while at least

-----

singing our love songs

neath a silent silver moon

revealing secrets

-----

naked in the night

lovers turn their skins silver

moonbathe together

------

weaving with my words

translucent gown for my love

to touch her for me

-----

lonely without you

echoing in heart and mind

my words so empty

-----

licking sinful lips

she's mellow with a slow burn

a honeyed vodka

-----

Alone in the dark on Gibraltar,

As her courage began to falter,

Then a monkey she met,

Became more than a pet,

-----

People think they're doing good

By being nice to me

I know it's just a subterfuge,

So they feel good, you see.

No one's ever wanted me,

Much less to be nearby,

Through all my many failures,

Give comfort as I cry.

I've never known what love is,

That feeling so sublime,

That someone loving me can give,

It's never been my time.

Each day has been a lonely thing,

In night's darkness so alone,

Never finally fell at peace,

Except when life has gone.

-----

she's dressed for the office

but her mind is somewhere else

nakedly exposed

-----

Pumpkins in the fall,

To Isabella do call,

Earth tones abound,

Falling leaves all around,

-----

i cannot help it

you awaken my old sins

and present desires

-----

life has come to this

ancient wreck of words and deeds

on the rocks of time

RANDOM MICROPOETRY BY DONOVAN BALDWIN - OCTOBER 5, 2025

BY DONOVAN BALDWIN

Donovan Baldwin
we discovered sin
in dark beside the bay
teens beneath the moon

-----

drawings of lovers
living out their fantasies
lines intersecting

-----

too damn old you see
for feelings my heart contains
dreams of yesterday

-----

been thinking of you
wonder if you think of me
wishing that you would

-----

what sins have you done
that i haven't done myself
living and loving

-----

those "heathen idols"
nakedly expressing truths
we cannot admit

-----

always with respect
even when we both consent
to exceed love's bounds

-----

Expeditions on unexplained shores.
Seeking to open locked doors,
Chasing her dreams
For the pleasure it brings,
Heather Amaro explores.

-----

my darkness within
inner scars, still bleeding wounds
eternal injuries

-----

before sleep takes me
i remember holding her
naked bodies joined

-----

those exciting nights
my lover revealed to me
pleasures of desire

-----

if you love ignore
body shape and skin color
meaningless metrics

-----

arms around my neck
binding me to panting breast
her mouth seeking mine

-----

but would she kiss him
creature from another time
or just love his words

-----

she touches my words
but never has she touched me
i'll wait like always

-----

he spills poetry
all over her naked mind
like cold words on skin

-----

no kisses for me
no eager feral fondling
nor cries of content

-----

sexy fully clothed
it's never what she's wearing
but how she wears it

-----

rosebud's nymph
rising casting off its veils
delicate but proud

reaping her tiny fig
plucking tiny fruit to taste
among sweet juices

breathlessly explore
up and down her little hill
along its ridges

-----

i stoop to admire
her mysterious jewel
among pastel folds

-----

her words appearing
just above love's horizon
warm pastels of dawn

-----

If I may speak so bold,
My ears will never be cold
Laying back on the bed,
Your thighs round my head,
As my tongue explores each fold.

-----

poet at his best
a god creating eden
adam to his eve

-----

sweet dreams or nightmares
hold my hand demand my arms
however you feel safe

-----

words upon her skin
dripping as if heated wax
delicate places

-----
