WE FLEE TO EDEN AND OTHER POEMS BY DONOVAN BALDWIN

BY DONOVAN BALDWIN

DONOVAN BALDWIN
we flee to eden
our paradise of pleasures
without sin or shame

-----

set her spirit free
how he wanted to love her
never to tame her

-----

i think i see you
secret wishes words desires
you dare not display

-----

first time exciting
so shameless and innocent
lasting memory

-----

i grant no freedom
for freedom is love's birthright
always free with me

-----

patch of velvet moss
my love's enticing grotto
where i rest my head

-----

amid folds and swirls
her silver nectar courses
pursued by his lips

-----

two similar souls
hedonistic partnership
craving the same sins

-----

from her box of toys
we mutually select
our evening's pleasures

-----

two similar souls
hedonistic partnership
craving the same sins

-----

i hope you make love
not with me but one you love
i can love that much

-----

Sometimes I say nothing,
Because I have so much to say,
And so few words to say it.

Sometimes I wish that you
Could read the silences of my heart,
And hear the echoes of my longing.

Sometimes I listen for the sounds
That I know I might never hear
Our laughter in the rain.

-----

words were never said
wrote our private poetry...
lips across her skin

-----

an artful goddess
arising and arousing
most freely exposed

-----

Upon the winds of time
An ancient tale in rhyme
A goddess alluring,
Desert sands swirling
Song of a love so sublime.

-----

intentional words
reveal more than conceal
her poet entralled

-----

trembles in his hands
softly quivering crystal
short of shattering

-----

cannot paint you nude
beautiful though that may be
so write what i see

-----

pleasure's passages
aphrodite's instruction...
i bend to my task

-----

i cannot own you
only wish you happiness
pleased by your pleasure

-----

She felt gladly exposed, as
Each new piece of clothing fell,
The touch of air and eyes
Causing skin to quiver,
Visible signals of desire,
Spoke of the rising
Of the secrets which
Had been hidden so long,
But now burst forth as
Fingers set them free.

-----

my words in her hands
vibrating with my passion
thrusting her upward

-----

thinks i cannot see
her whirlwind of passion
her mask hides little

-----

she savors tartness
slick and salty like the sea
cream of temptation

-----

nakedly waiting
there somewhere beyond the door
she hopes he'll open

-----

she cannot lay stil
neath his kisses and caresses
arching she cries out

-----

each inch and entry
on and in your savory skin
delicious to taste

-----

frightened doe at first
stepping wide-eyes from her fears
into love's meadow

----

frightened by passion
she stepped bide-eyed from shadows
to bright excitement

-----

sometimes it's just us
sometimes we're part of a pack
loving together

-----

I'll never own you
but i will be at your side
in pain and pleasure

-----

each day's a struggle
carrying all the burdens
life has bequeathed me

-----

it's not merely lust
love with a higher purpose
receiving much more

-----
