STORY - ADVENTURE OF THE WIPER BLADES - COUNTERINTUITIVE
For me, even changing wiper blades becomes an adventure.Donovan Baldwin
Bought new ones at Autozone and brought them home. Never changed them on the Tundra before, and had a little problem figuring out how to get the old ones off.
So, after not being able to accomplish it by brain power and brute strength, I looked at some YouTube videos.
Abject failure.
Back upstairs again.
More videos.
They all showed the same technique.
Finally... FINALLY...
I found a text set of instructions that said, essentially...
"BUT, if you DO NOT have original equipment wiper blades...."
I recalled a quick trip to a Riley's Auto Parts store in Dyersburg, Tennessee a while back, when the helpful employee had to come up with a "special implement" to install replacement, "God knows who made them", wiper blades when one of mine went sailing into space.
To repeat, "... if you do NOT have original equipment wiper blades, the process is reversed, AND...."
And it used THIS word...
"Counterintuitive."
Adventures. Always those damn adventures.
